Auckley

The Eagle and Child Public house is situated in the rural, historic village of Auckley. Offers a large and varied menu selection. You can eat in the bar, lounge or separate eating area.

Branton

The Three Horseshoes / Sizzlers is a pub and restaurant with an extensive menu on offer, reasonably priced to suit all tastes and pockets.

Austerfield (4 miles)

Four miles south of Blaxton (on the A614) is Austerfield, where you will find Ma Hubbard ’s restaurant for good value traditional meals.

Bawtry (4.85 miles)

Further down the A614 is the market town of Bawtry, which we highly recommend the wide choice of quality restaurants and wine bars.

In the Dower House square you will find the Dower House Indian Restaurant and Emilo’s Italian Restaurant.

On the High Street is Lancers Indian restaurant, Ziniz Italian Restaurant, and The China Rose Cantonese Cuisine.

Doncaster Town Centre

A wider choice of restaurants can be found in Doncaster Town Centre. Next to the Odeon Cinema you will find the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant on Hall Gate.

Further down the road is Cactus Jacks (Texan / Mexican), Empire Buffet (Cantonese), and if you turn right into Silver Street you will see the China Palace Cantonese Restaurant.

At the bottom of Silver Street you can either turn right up East Laith Gate to Le-Bistro, or turn up Netherhall Road or go straight on and then turn right up Copley Road.

On Netherhall Road you will find, Carlo’s, Santini’s, and the Royal Dragon.

On Copley Road there are several other restaurants such as Doncaster Tandori, Raaj Indian Restaurant, and San Remo’s.

If you are combining a meal out in Doncaster with a trip to the cinema, then you’ll find both The Cheswold / Brewsters and Frankie and Bennies next to the Vue Cinema at Doncaster Leisure Park.
